Daughter J and I both got it. It was less than fun, and my GI tract wasn't entirely back on line until Sunday morning. We managed by dint of frequent handwashing to keep from sharing it with the rest of the family, though.

In other health news, though, this little pimple thing on the side of my head that hasn't really healed up for about the past two months is very likely basal-cell skin cancer; I get the biopsy results back in a week or so, and if it is treatment is going to be dead easy (excision, stitches, done). It would, however, be a pretty strong clue that all those sunburns did some real damage over the years. I'm already using sunscreen pretty heavily, but should in any case be more conscientious about it. That, and wearing hats. On the whole, I'd rather deal with this than what [livejournal.com profile] friar_bacon went through--as wakeup calls go, basal-cell is better than malignant melanoma.
